GMAT

What is GMAT?

The GMAT, which stands for the Graduate Management Admission Test, is a standardized exam that is mandatory for the majority of business schools. It serves as a way to assess the academic capabilities of applicants. The test evaluates the test taker’s proficiency in both mathematics and the English language. It is primarily used by business schools as the main entrance exam for their MBA programs.

The exam is typically administered via computer, although in regions with limited computer networks, a paper-based version may be used. The GMAT is divided into three sections: analytical writing assessment, verbal ability, and quantitative ability. The highest possible score on the GMAT is 800, and scores are generally valid for five years from the date of completion.
